Today was the last day of summer. First we went and got haircuts, so sorry Jill, they were not on their best behavior. Then we went and got the lead test for David and Thomas. Which went well neither one of them cried. Thomas just went "ouch" and that was all that was said. David was a little more nervous since he just had his shots on Friday and the pain was still fresh in his mind. He was a trooper though. Then we went to Wal-Mart to get an alarm clock for David and Thomas's room. We also got some flash cards for addition, subtraction, multiplication and the ABC's for all of them to use. They each got a journal to keep track of their school days. It was a fun day!! Then tonight we went to the open house at each of their schools. First we got David all settled in then we did the same for Matthew and Jacob, who were so excited that they had flat screen TV's in their rooms. They each have friends from last year in their classes. I think it will be a good year.
