This year we spent the Fourth of July weekend at my sister, Natalie's house. We started after I got off of work on Saturday. Swimming was the first thing they wanted to do. So we spent most of our day by the pool.
Natalie had amazing meals planned for us. Super started with hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, hash browns and moms baked beans. For dessert we had homemade ice cream, pies, and Dads marshmellow cake. After dessert Mike and Kirk let off a great display of Fireworks. (Matthew enjoyed his ice cream while watching the fireworks.) After the fireworks were done we had a campfire with smores. Then we spent the night in the tent pitched in their yard.
